Dr. Huda Zoghbi to receive the Nemmers Prize
Huda Zoghbi, MD, a Howard Hughes Medical Institute investigator and professor at Baylor College of Medicine and director of Jan and Dan Duncan Neurological Research Institute, is the inaugural recipient of the Mechthild Esser Nemmers Prize in Medical Science at Northwestern University.
The $200,000 prize money will be added to her fund (Huda Zoghbi Mentorship Fund) that is used to support career development for young women who want to begin a career in biomedical research.
