Dr. Schaaf to speak at Houston's first Rare Disease Day

Dr. Christian Schaaf, assistant professor at Baylor College of Medicine and researcher at the Jan and Dan Duncan Neurological Research Institute has been invited to deliver a seminar on Houston's first Rare Disease Day that will debut at The Health Museum on February 29, 2016. 

This event is organized by the Health Museum along with Texas Children's Hospital and Baylor College of Medicine to educate families on rare diseases.

Dr. Schaaf is a medical geneticist who is an expert in identifying genetic causes for rare and undiagnosed genetic disorders. His talk will be titled, "Social Media and Rare Diseases".
